Level 2 Teaching Assistant required for September 2024

Contract:                  Fixed term

Required:                  From September 2024

The Governors are seeking to appoint outstanding Teaching Assistants to work in a number of posts from September. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing teams to support children with SEN.  

We are looking for a person who:

  • Can work collaboratively with other staff.
  • Can work with the class teacher to contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning.
  • Can adjust activities for the pupil they are working with to support learning styles and individual needs.
  • Can communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
  • Can develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
  • Has a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour.
  • Has NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants.

Apprentice Teaching Assistant

Post:                Apprentice Teaching Assistant required from September 2024
Hours:             37 hours per week across 5 days

Contract :      Fixed term for 2 years

The Governors are seeking to appoint an apprentice to our nursery team.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Can work collaboratively with other staff.
  • Can work with the class teacher to contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning.
  • Can communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
  • Can develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
  • Has a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour.

Has a Level 2 qualification in supporting children’s education e.g. Teaching assistant.

Please note: the enrolment onto the apprenticeship training course requires a minimum level of Maths and English and you may not be accepted if you do not meet the minimum requirements
